Donald Glover isn’t busy enough.
After performing and taking home trophies at the Grammys in January, with Han Solo: A Star Wars Story hitting theaters in May and the second season of his hit show Atlanta premiering on FX last week, Donald Glover has announced that he will be hitting the road as alter-ego rapper Childish Gambino with opening act Rae Sremmurd.
Amongst all of his projects, Glover has assured fans that he would still be releasing one final album before retiring the Childish Gambino act.
It would seem that the multi-hyphenate juggernaut is making good on that promise and elevating it even further by going out on tour.
He’s also enlisted the help of rap duo Rae Sremmurd as his supporting act.
The timing works perfectly as Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi are set to release their triple disc Sremm Life 3, which they dropped three tracks off of only last week, sometime this year.
It would give both acts the opportunity to showcase their new work as well as give Sremmurd access to a larger audience.
The tour will hit 13 cities across North America and will hit arenas rather than smaller clubs like he did on his last headlining tour back in 2016.
The American Express Presale will begin Tuesday March 6th at 12 pm local time before the general sale happens on Friday March 9th at 12 pm local time.
