2018 NFL Scouting Combine TE Results and Analysis

Gesicki was sick. Sorry.

Who helped themselves the most

Mike Gesicki, Penn State: Gesicki was on another level this weekend. He led in nearly every category, including the 40 and all the agility workouts. He should be considered the top tight end prospect in this year’s class for now.

Who hurt themselves the most

Jordan Thomas, Mississippi State: Thomas was a late-round prospect, to begin with, and he didn’t help his case for the most part at the Combine, ranking low in most of the workouts he took part in, apart from the 40. At least his hand size is big.

Mixed bag

Mark Andrews, Oklahoma: Andrews was utilized in the slot with the Sooners, so it was surprising to see him do so poorly in the agility drills. He was fine in the on-the-field portion of the Combine though, and his 40 was solid as well.
