2018 NFL Scouting Combine LB Results and Analysis

Shaquem the Dream

Who helped themselves the most

Shaquem Griffin, UCF: Griffin wasn’t on the initial invite list for the Combine. Yet he had the second fastest 40 time through three days and performed well in the bench press despite having to use a prosthetic device due to not having a left hand. He’s a tremendous player with a fantastic work effort that deserves a chance at NFL success.

Who hurt themselves the most

Chris Worley, Ohio State: Worley was hoping to boost his stock from his current mid-round status. Instead, he torpedoed it by finishing in last place in the three workouts he took part in. He’ll need to do a lot in order to recover.

Mixed bag

Dorian O’Daniel, Clemson: O’Daniel was a star in the agility drills, nabbing two first-place spots. He was in the middle of the pack for the rest of his events, however. He looks like a second or third-round pick at this point.
