Cardi B’s highly anticipated debut album has a set release date this April…
The Bronx-born rapper Cardi B finally has a set release date for her long-awaited debut album.
The pervasive hip-hop artist made the announcement when she took home the title for Best New Hip-Hop Artist at the iHeartRadio Music Awards that took place on Sunday night (March 11).
Gladly accepting the award, in her unfiltered sense of humor, the diva took to the stage as the perfect opportunity to rile up fans about her upcoming not yet titled album release.
Keeping it short and straight to the point the “Bodak Yellow,” rapper accepts her award and ended her speech simply saying:
“My album will be coming in April, OKurrr. Yessir. April. Stay tuned, muthaf… ow!”

Originally the album was set to kick off in October of 2017, but after a series of delays fans were demanding answers revolving around the new record in the works.
Instead of providing answers, the hip-hop mogul released a new follow-up single “Bartier Cardi,” which features fellow rapper 21 Savage, as a way of taking some of the steam off of her spotlight.
Despite the single becoming rather successful among fans, everybody still wanted more out of her.
Feeling the burn more than ever, Cardi took to Instagram to share her thoughts on the slew of questions flooding her inbox about the latest project.
“I don’t understand why people who don’t like me keep telling me to drop my album,” she said.
“You don’t like me, so why are you thirsty for my album? To talk sh*t, to suck d*ck?”
Now that the newest album is steady on track, Cardi is giving no further specifics on song titles, track-listing, or any hint towards more collaborations. However, the album sounds promising enough to leave a lasting impression.
Keep up with music at Salute.
