Thom Yorke is striking it out on his own this spring for a tour of his own
After a pair of successful solo dates back in December in Los Angeles and Oakland, CA Radiohead front man Thom Yorke is about to head out on the road this spring for a brief set of solo tour dates.
Much to the dismay of American (both North and South), African, Asian, and other fans Yorke will only be touring throughout Europe.
The tour will kick off in Florence, Italy on May 28, then take him through Milan, Italy, after which he will go through Switzerland, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, Scotland, England for three dates, France, and end then finally come to an end on June 16 in Barcelona, Spain at the Sonar Festival.
Supporting Yorke on the tour will be Oliver Coates.
In Yorke’s band will be Radiohead producer Nigel Godrich as well as A/V artist Tarik Barri, who both joined Yorke on stage at the pair of live shows he played in California last year.
Tickets to the upcoming tour will be available for sale March 23.
At the most recent show in Oakland, Yorke premiered a brand new song called “I am a Very Rude Person”, which has since ended up all over YouTube. Yorke has yet to release a studio recorded version of the song.
Tickets to the tour can be found and purchased here.
