Lil Yachty kicks it at the trailer park for “Count Me In” video

Desert dreaming

Lil Yachty is having a great time in the desert.

Rapper Lil Yachty is everywhere these days. He not only finally released his long-awaited album “Lil Boat 2,” but he was also featured on Diplo’s latest track “Worry No More” with Santigold. The video for which had the two artists working in a bakery.

Now, the rapper is back with his latest video for “Count Me In.”

The video was director by Anarchy Films’ Andreas Attai. Attai recently worked as a producer on Janelle Monae’s video for her track “Django Jane.” Each video is similarly stunning in its clarity and stark images.

In the video, the rapper, his crew and a cast of other characters in the desert as they ride ATVs through the sand dunes, have an amateur boxing match and pose near a car.

The video also features a girl clad in a white jumpsuit dancing, images of desert life, Lil Yachty hitting up a skate park and families just hanging out.

In the scenes depicting families as they go about their day, Lil Yachty and his crew sit outside a bright yellow camper. As he sits on the stair, Bhad Bhabie comes out and drapes herself over the rapper and flips her hair.

However, she’s merely there ornamentally as the “Cash Me Ousside” rapper does not appear on the track.

The song, as XXL Mag points out, is all about flexing.

In Miami, in that penthouse f—in’ on ten hoes
Aye, f–k with me
I’m rich as hell, yo’ bitch love on me
You don’t have to like me, just don’t talk, just don’t f–k with me

“Count Me In” is off of Yachty’s recently released Lil Boat 2, which was a follow up to his previous mixtape Lil Boat that won him critical acclaim and saw him as an up and coming force within the rap world.

Keep up with music at Salute.
