Seth Rogen announces Hilarity For Charity coming to Netflix

The actor (Knocked Up, Pineapple Express) is bringing a unique variety show to the streaming platform. Hilarity for Charity (HFC) is a nonprofit movement, led by Seth Rogen and Lauren Miller Rogen, dedicated to raising awareness, inspiring change, and accelerating progress in Alzheimer’s care, research, and support through the engagement of millennials.

For four years, HFC has had a successful Los Angeles Variety Show entertaining young, hip professionals through evenings filled with music and comedy while creating the next generation of Alzheimer’s advocates.

Performances and appearances by Judd Apatow, Aziz Ansari The Backstreet Boys, Miley Cyrus, James Franco, Bill Hader, Kevin Hart, Samuel L. Jackson, Mindy Kaling, Bruno Mars, Patton Oswalt, Paul Rudd, Tenacious D, and more have helped make it a smashing success.

The special, coming to Netflix, will feature a line-up that includes Tiffany Haddish, Sarah Silverman, Michelle Wolf, John Mulaney, James Corden, The Muppets, Post Malone, Nick Kroll, Kumail Nanjiani, Sacha Baron Cohen, Jeff Goldblum, Michael Che, and Craig Robinson & The Nasty Delicious. Here is the synopsis of the Netflix’s Hilarity for Charity:

Rogen announced the special guests scheduled to appear in Hilarity for Charity, an outrageous comedy special combining stand-up, sketches, and music that could only come from Seth’s mind. Coming to Netflix in April.

The announcement trailer is simple and straight to the point. Seth Rogen appears in front of a blank background as he talks about the special. Rogen mentions the lineup for the special program that consists of a vast array of talents. Everyone from Goldblum to the Muppets.

Rogen announces the lineup the camera crew, however, begin shooting out of focus and hilariously zoom in and out, while Rogen changes outfits several times and promises many great guests to appear on the special.

The comedy variety show is set to hit the program queue this April.
