The tour is in support of his eighth studio album, Heartbreak on a Full Moon, that was released back in November of 2017. The tour is also in celebration of the singer’s 12th year in the music industry.
The tour will feature a trio of opening acts across the various dates that are sure to please audiences.
First up is 6lack. The Atlanta singer/rapper was on Rolling Stone’s list of “10 Artists You Need to Know” in 2016 and has seen success with his debut album Free 6lack that saw his first platinum track with “Prblms.” 6lack most recently opened for The Weeknd on his “Legend of the Fall” tour.
Pop singer/songwriter H.E.R. Early on in 2017, she released her first compilation H.E.R. Volume I and followed it up with the sequel, H.E.R. Volume II just four months later. While having sold out her own headlining tour both in America and overseas, the Heartbreak on a Full Moon tour will be a chance for H.E.R. to perform to a larger audience and test the tracks of her debut album which is due out sometime this year.
Lastly, Chris Brown will also be joined by Rich the Kid. According to a press release,
“Since the release of his debut solo mixtape in 2013, Been About The Benjamins, Rich The Kid has been instrumental in re-contextualizing Atlanta’s vibrant hip-hop landscape. His charismatic lyrics and riotously upbeat delivery made early believers of platinum-selling acts and hitmakers like Migos, Young Thug, Kodak Black, 21 Savage and PartyNextDoor.”
However, he only just signed to Interscope Records and is currently hard at work on his debut album.
This tour with Chris Brown will be a chance for all three artists to reach a larger audience and show how talented they are.
The Heartbreak on a Full Moon will start June 19th in Seattle and wrap up August 4th in Las Vegas, per Complex. Presale will begin March 28th followed by general sale on March 30th at 10 am local time.
