When legendary makeup artist, Scott Barnes confirmed on Instagram that the queen of glow herself, Jennifer Lopez was creating a bronzer the beauty community immediately went into a frenzy. Everyone wanted to know if she was working on her very own brand or if it was one simple product. The truth has just been unveiled by Lopez herself, who has confirmed she teamed up with Polish cosmetic brand Inglot for a 70-piece beauty collection.
The announcement was made via an Instagram post shared by the makeup brand from the collection’s ad campaign, featuring the mom-of-two wearing her go-to look- a bronzed yet illuminated face paired with a beautiful satin finish rouge lipstick and topped off with a matching couture red dress.
While “Jenny from the Block” has always been a fashion and beauty icon she has never collaborated on a collection until now. It has been noted Lopez was very hands-on with the creation of the line, she worked closely with Inglot Cosmetics on everything, including shade range, colors, product logo, ad campaign images and product names that are inspired by her career. The line was created for women that want to create glamorous looks without the hassle.
In a statement, she said:
“The capsule collection we created with Inglot is filled with all my go-to products in my favorite colors. We have everything from mascara, lipsticks, eyelashes, blush, eyeshadow and, of course, bronzers.”
According to Allure, the stand out pieces of this collection are a bronzer that does not contain any shimmer or glitter particles in it named “Boogie Down Bronze,” a loose powder illuminator in a champagne hue called “Livin’ The Highlight, and a high-shine lip gloss dubbed “The LipGlossy.”
Even though these products sound extremely promising the singer is most excited about the “Freedom System Palette,” a customization offer Inglot has perfected throughout the years. Having her line as part of their system allows consumers to purchase the eyeshadow hues they prefer from the collection to create their very own custom palette. It’s a unique process that gives buyers the ability to pick and choose what shadows work best for them.
Regarding the “Freedom System Palette,” Lopez shared:
“[It] allows you to create your own personalized palette with the specific colors and products that you need. Now you no longer have to buy that 5-piece eyeshadow kit to get the one color you really want!”
The Jennifer Lopez x Inglot collection will officially launch on April 26 at all Inglot Cosmetics retail stores and at InglotUSA.com. However, an exclusive palette inspired by the singer’s ad campaign look will be available for pre-order on April 17th at JenniferlopezInglot.com.
Judging from her successful fragrance line and the excitement received from the beauty community, this collection will be another success for the Latin singer. It will be fairly interesting to see how this line compares to the other celebrity collaborations that have already launched and/or will be launching this year.
