Nicki Minaj is doubling down.
Rap queen Nicki Minaj is back with not one, but two brand new singles for her adoring fans.

The first track, “Chun-Li,” is an obvious homage to the Street Fighter character of the same name. The single’s artwork features Minaj’s hair in similar buns and the fiery lyrics to match the persona.
The track opens already with Nicki’s signature intensity.
Ayo, look like I’m goin’ for a swim
Dunk on ’em, now I’m swingin’ off the rim
Bitch ain’t comin’ off the bench
While I’m comin’ off the court fully drenched
Here, get some haterade, get ya thirst quenched
The second track, “Barbie Tingz,” is a totally different feel from “Chun-Li.” It reminds fans and critics what brought her to the top of the rap totem pole in the first place.
It drips with a confidence women yearn for and the knowledge that she’s where she’s supposed to be. Minaj also makes it clear that she stands on her own two feet and isn’t afraid to call someone out for trying to steal her thunder.
Rap bitches tell they team, “Make ’em like Barbie”
Had to come off IG so they can’t stalk me
All they do is copy looks, steal music too
Want to see what bitches do when they lose the blue-print
I mean the pinkprint, ho, let it sink in
The tracks, which are off of her forthcoming LP, are the first since last year’s singles including “Regret in Your Tears” and “No Frauds.”
She was also featured on “Motor Sport” with Migos which also featured fellow rap princess Cardi B and Katy Perry’s supposed diss track of Taylor Swift “Swish Swish.” She has not released a full album since 2014’s The Pinkprint.
Genius.com reports her saying in a recent interview,
“This is the best album of my life that I’ve ever created. I think that things that I won’t get into right now, I think those things took my focus away from music for a very long time. So I think I’ve been working on this album since December… Some songs were written a year and a half ago.”
The album does not have a release date yet, but fans can stay satisfied with the two latest singles in the meantime.
