Supreme and Lacoste have teamed up again to present their second spring summer 2018 collection, bringing the latest trendy pieces in luxe velour. The American skateboarding brand and French company debut once again the link between high-end and street style to prove it’s been the most impactful trend in the industry.
The collection contains a 90’s-inspired aesthetic, where it secures the question of what it’s back in trend and what isn’t. Their line features velour polos, cozy hooded and crewneck sweatshirts, and trendy bucket hats. Reflecting the must-have accessory of the season, the collection debuts shoulder bags and fanny packs in Lacoste’s signature styles: green, red, black, and white. Varsity jackets are also featured, with the Supreme and Lacoste splayed on the black with the alligator logo centered.
Supreme’s prep touches prove their potential to touch base with any designer yet still remain humble to their street style concept. Featuring caps, the collection features camp caps with 3m reflective patterns and twill 6-panel hat along with shorts in a perfect length for outings this upcoming season. Even with the velvet fabric making a comeback, this collaboration has endless possibilities of mixing and matching many outfits for the preps or the streetwear enthusiasts.
The collection will be available in-store on Apr. 19, at 11 a.m. GMT and EST. Japan’s release will debut on Apr. 21.
