A$AP Rocky’s 2015 album ‘At.Long.Last.A$AP’ exudes in platinum…
Approximately three years later, A$AP Rocky’s second studio album At.Long.Last.A$AP ( A.L.L.A.) lives up to its first No.1 debut record Long.Live.A$AP, which topped the Billboard 200 chart in 2013, as well as becoming an immediate sell out.
Now, the sophomore album has been granted certified platinum status, after surpassing 1 million units on the charts. Though, the album’s success hasn’t been as fast-paced as the first, it did earn critical acclaim worthy enough to receive a golden slab for propelling past 500,000 units at the time.
A month after its release in May, At.Long.Last.A$AP became a chart-topping sensation, with supporting singles “Lord Pretty Flacko Jodye 2 (LPFJ2),” “Everyday” and “L$D,” as Rocky stole the throne for the second time around ascending straight to the No. 1 spot, trailing behind his debut album by an inch.
The record which is also excessive on other fruitful rap moguls in the game, is comprised of Kanye West, Lil Wayne, Danger Mouse, Juicy J, Joe Fox, Future, M.I.A., ScHoolboy Q, and even rock veteran Rod Stewart, which just names a few out of many more.
In the interim, the Harlem rapper has been busting out new singles such as “Above,” “Money Bags Freestyle,” and “Cocky,” off of his upcoming album dubbed Testing, no set release date has been made as of press time but it’s expected to drop sometime this year.
