The Process keeps rolling on. One year after winning just 28 games, the 76ers have made it to the second round of the Playoffs. Led by 27 points from J.J. Redick and a near triple-double from rookie phenom Ben Simmons, Philly put away the Miami Heat in five games.
To make the victory even sweeter, they got to do it in front of Philly native and recently freed Meek Mill, who was released earlier today by order of Pennsylvania’s highest court.
While they wait to see who they face in the next round, many are putting the Sixers as the favorites to dethrone LeBron James as king of the East. Only time will tell.
