Cardi B is finding pregnancy trumps all.
Cardi B. is on top of the world right now. Her debut album Invasion of Privacy has been one of the most anticipated albums of 2018 and rightfully so.
It tore up the charts upon release and proves that she’s capable of range and of different styles all while maintaining what is inherently wonderful about Bartier. She was also named one of TIME’s 100 Most Influential People. Not bad for a debut year.
Her personal life is also off the charts. She revealed that she was engaged to rapper Offset from the group Migos months before revealing during her debut Saturday Night Live performance that she was pregnant with their first child.
While she performed at both Coachella weekends this month, the “I Do” rapper announced that due to where she’s at in her pregnancy, she will have to cancel some tour dates this summer.
In her video posted to Instagram she said that “Because you know, shorty keep growing and I be looking like I be moving and everything, but in reality, a bitch can barely breathe.”
She added that her last date will be this weekend’s Broccoli City Festival in Washington, D.C.
The cancelled dates, according to People, include the JMBLYA Festival next month as well as New York’s Panorama Festival in July.
But she reassured fans on Twitter that they won’t be disappointed when she returns from the brief hiatus.
Okay so i might be off from doing performances for a couple of months but in the meantime imma be working my ass off .So many songs, features to do .Working on a lot of deals i sign up for and most importantly nesting .I️m already overwhelmed from the new work😩

And the hiatus won’t last all that long. Cardi B. will be heading back out on the road with her “Finesse” collaborator Bruno Mars for the 24k Magic tour this September.
When hosting The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon recently, she said the tour will be a family affair. “I’m taking my baby with me!”
Keep up with music at Salute.
