Fulvia Visconti Ferragamo, daughter of the late Salvatore Ferragamo has suffered a sudden death at the age of 67. According to WWD, Ferragamo’s death was unexpected and sudden. The nature of her illness has not been shared with the public just yet, but it was understood that she may have been suffering from a fast-acting form of cancer.
Fulvia Visconti Ferragamo’s was the creative director for both the men and women’s silk department at the luxury fashion house. The legacy her father left behind was not a challenge for Ferragamo’s as she continued to bring the namesake brand’s core value- elegance and undeniable luxury, in multiple different collections including the staple pieces that make the label what it is today.
The Italian fashion house first came on the scene in 1927 as a prominent label well-loved and worn by celebrities and socialites. Till this day the brand continues to thrive on being a preferred range by all those who want timeless elegance with a hint of classic Italian couture.
