Future is proving he has friends in high places.
At this year’s inaugural Rolling Loud Festival in Miami, rapper Future proved that he has all the right friends to bring out and take the Florida heat up just a little hotter.
The first guest to grace the stage was Young Thug who came out to perform “Relationship” alongside his friend before busting out his own song “Killed Before.”
When he took his leave, singer Chris Brown was introduced. He took to the stage to sing their tracks “High End” and “Loyal.”
Then Future stepped aside and let Brown sing a trio of his own songs: “Commas,” “Mask Off” and “March Madness.”
But the biggest surprise guest of the night was none other than rap queen Nicki Minaj.
Clad in a black and white striped one piece bathing suit under a clear poncho, Minaj stepped out onto the Miami stage and performed her latest single “Chun Li” from her forthcoming album Queen.
According to XXL Mag, she also gave the crowd her verses from Migos track “MotorSport” and Yo Gotti’s “Rake It Up.”
While Future was forthcoming with allowing his friends to take the stage during his set, he wowed the crowd with a setlist of some of his best tracks as well. He performed “Freak Hoes,” “Move That Dope,” “Karate Chop” and “Low Life.”
Future also recently dropped two new tracks. The first, “No Shame,” features PartyNextDoor and the other, “My Peak,” features Chicago native Chance the Rapper and King Louie.
Other performers at the festival included 21 Savage, Post Malone, Tory Lanez, Migos and Meek Mill in his first performance post release.
However, fans were disappointed to learn that Lil Wayne cancelled his highly anticipated appearance just minutes before he was set to take the stage.
Keep up with music at Salute.
