WATCH: Rob Stone living the dream in ‘Ion Sleep’ video

Fast cars and pretty women

Rob Stone is living the dream in his new video.

San Diego rapper Rob Stone is coming out hard with the first video from his latest mixtape Young Rob Stone.

Stone dropped the luxurious visual for “Ion Sleep” early last week. From the very beginning of the video, Stone is surrounded by luxury vehicles and motorcycles.

Time oscillates between early evening and night throughout. He’s surrounded by scantily clad women. In essence, he’s living out the song.

Talk to me, walk with me
Damn, goddamn my bitches all love me, facts
Ooh, man I got women in London , Yves Saint Laurent (ay), my diamonds look like a puddle

The rapper clearly wants to celebrate the hard work he has put in since releasing his debut album Don’t Wait For It late last year. Not only in the decadent video, but also in the song’s chorus.

You know that Ion sleep (Ion sleep)
I been goin’ hard, been on my job all week, but now I’m geekin’, ooh (I’m geekin’, ooh)
And don’t you bother me (don’t bother me)

And the 23-year-old took an even bigger role in the video by stepping up as co-director. Stone got behind the camera with director Fabrizio Siboldi, according to XXL Mag

The two had previously worked together on Stone’s video for “Uncle Ben” back in January.

The video also features a cameo from Malik Burgers, a 19-year-old rapper from San Diego that has worked with Stone before on tracks such as “Lemon Grove,” “Holy Grail,” and “CaliComfort.”

Rob Stone just concluded his relatively small headlining tour that stuck predominantly to the West Coast during this past April. With a bold video proving that he is here to stay, it is clear that Rob Stone is not going anywhere.

Keep up with music at Salute.
