Supreme and Levi’s have collaborated once more for Spring 2018, with a new series that puts colorful denim and pinstripes back in the spotlight.
The new array brings forth classic, custom fit stonewashed pinstripe trucker jackets presented in three colorways: faded black, soft blue and vivid pink. Along with matching stonewashed pinstripe 500 jeans that come in the same color scheme. When paired together the pieces appear almost to blend and have a tuxedo vibe to them.
However, this line up feels a bit different to what Supreme has showcased thus far due to the lack of bold logo lettering. The New York streetwear brand who is known for having large, logo detailing on almost all of its pieces has taken a step back with this assortment and went for a more classic Levi’s aesthetics with metallic hardware, red tab detailing, and signature fabric patchwork.
The pieces will drop in-stores, including New York, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, London, Paris and online on May 24th. Meanwhile, it will be available in Japan on May 26th.
With so many different selections dropping almost on a weekly basis, it will be rather interesting to see how the New York streetwear brand will continue to create innovative pieces that aren’t redundant for their Fall/Winter 2018 range.
