Gorillaz roll out new album details, two songs, and tour dates

Gorillaz is back with a vengeance with the dropping of new album info, two new tracks, and tour dates

Everyone’s favorite cartoon experimental rap/rock/who knows group Gorillaz are back and already are stirring up quite a bit of excitement and anticipation.

They just released not only two new songs, but also a music video for one of the songs, announced the name and track list for a new album, and have also announced a whole slew of world tour dates.

The upcoming record’s name is The Now Now. It was produced by Simian Mobile Disco’s James Ford and Remi Kabaka. The only featured guests are George Benson, Jamie Principle, and Snoop Dogg.

The first track the band released is one called “Humility”, which they brought on jazz legend George Benson for. They also released a video for the song, which features an appearance from Jack Black.

The second track the band put out is called “Lake Zurich”.

The band will be starting a tour June 1 in Nuremburg, Germany, going for several dates before things come to a close Oct 20 at the second Demon Dayz Festival in Los Angeles, CA.

The Now Now is due out June 29 via Warner Bros/Parlophone.
