British fashion designer Alice Temperley unveiled chic and dazzling pieces for her Fall/Winter 2018 collection during London Fashion Week. Unusual from the typical ensembles we typically see, Temperley London proved that she has more up her sleeve.

Temperly opened the show with a flattering olive green aviator-like jumpsuit, along with much other inspirations from the military. The collection consisted of various pieces with pink embroidery and patches, preciously contrasting with the olive green.

Jackets were a statement on the runway, as she designed multiple including a beautiful quilted green jacket, styled with a transparent dress in gold embroidery. White polka dots preciously placed stars and asymmetrical stripes made their debut in the collection. Although aiming for change, the designer remained faithful to her brand by constructing gowns with sequins, creating scintillating tones.

In the collection the designer debuted blazers, including a stunning traditional blue and white striped design, bringing vibes from the 50’s business wear to the range. According to WWD, the designer said,

“There was loads more offering, especially in daywear. I want to show I’m not just a dress brand,” after the show.

The 42-year-old’s range was distinguished by her choice of having military lace boots to accompany her elegant designs. Additionally, the designer incorporated a chic black belt with a distinctive buckle to add a hint of individuality to most of her wrap and collared dresses.

Different from most punk-style inspirations that were seen throughout London Fashion Week, Temperley clearly exceeded in expanding the brand’s vision.
