During New York Bridal Fashion Week, Berta Bridal introduced the second collection of their line “Muse by Berta,” which remained true to Berta’s intricate details and romantic aesthetic. However, Muse, first unveiled in 2017, calls for a different kind of bride.
Muse adds a bohemian, vintage feel to the classic Berta designs, playing up the sensuality of the designs. Each gown featured layers of soft tulle and low necklines, certainly not for the shy bride but for the bride looking to make a statement.
The presentation was held at a rooftop venue in Midtown Manhattan with stunning views of the surrounding skyscrapers. The models posed effortlessly around the space, giving everyone a chance to examine and fully appreciate the gowns.
This was one of my favorite gowns from the collection because of the white embroidered appliqués that covered the bodice. A tulle skirt was synched at the model’s waist with a small white bow that sat in the middle. The European-style gown pooled down to the floor with a thick rimmed skirt.
This gown exemplified the overall theme of Muse by Berta which is sexy and body-hugging, while remaining soft and delicate. This cream gown featured dainty flowers that outlined the neckline and shoulder straps.
My favorite part of this tulle and lace masterpiece was the oversized bows decorating the shoulders, which added some drama to the vintage-inspired gown.
Muse by Berta’s latest 2018 collection was a beautiful, unique extension of Berta Bridal and will definitely make the brand accessible for even more brides searching for the perfect gown for their special day.
