In a true clash of the titans, the big names showed up to play. James Harden posted a game-high 40 points to Kyle Lowry‘s 30, but the Raptors held on to a late lead in a battle of the top teams in their respective conferences. After saying that Harden was a lock for the MVP, the Beard’s good buddy and fellow MVP candidate DeMar DeRozan posted 23 points to help Toronto to the win.
While this was an entertaining and high-caliber matchup, the reality is that this will not be the matchup when the Playoffs come to a close. LeBron James will pull the Cavs together for a run in the East, and Golden State is simply too loaded to be beat in a series.
