Travis Scott Stays Innovative
Rapper/producer Travis Scott is the latest top-shelf artist to release content exclusively on Apple Music.
Scott is not dropping a new LP or exclusive song on the service. Instead he’s delivered a 15-minute short film entitled Birds in the Trap.
You can view a preview and purchase in I Tunes here.
Scott is also making waves for his response to a misstep that he made when he fell through Drake’s stage setup while performing in London.
He told GQ Style that it wasn’t what it appeared to be.
“I didn’t fall, dude, I flew. I was floating, Scott said. “I don’t fall. Shit, nothing happened. Floating is amazing. It’s like getting in a plane. I just flew, man. I’m a magician, like David Blaine. I could never fall. Drake is an amazing person. Also, a magician. He’s a big brother, super-talent, he’s cool.”
With his AstroWorld LP on the way, Scott is gearing up for the next stage of his career.
“The next record is called AstroWorld” Scott said. “It might be the best music that I made. I have two records on the album that are like, man, they are the best. They tore down AstroWorld to build more apartment space. That’s what it’s going to sound like, like taking an amusement park away from kids. We want it back. We want the building back. That’s why I’m doing it. It took the fun out of the city.”
The Houston native is doing it to the maximum. Check out Birds In the Trap and AstroWorld when its available.
