Waka Flocka Flame + Lil Xan go at it on social media

Twitter beef brewing

Atlanta rapper Waka Flocka Flame has a problem with the 21-year-old California “mumble” rapper Lil Xan. Last night, he tweeted “Lil Xan banned from hip-hop,” reacting to an interview with REVOLT, last month, where he ranks West Coast rap icon Tupac Shakur 2-out-of-9, referring to Makaveli as “boring music.”

Waka Flocka was outraged with the young artist’s remarks and continued to express his disappointment on social media, tweeting about how “Pac help[ed] me get thru childhood!!! Shit hurt to see the youth disrespect man that paved the way for all of us literally… I hope nobody overlook me [or my] accomplishments when I leave.”

The tweet comes just one day after Xan tweeted that he no longer plans on doing interviews. While it is unclear what specifically he was referring to, his tweet was made following his interview with Ebro in the Morning on Hot 97. The conversation widely centered around how the rapper came to be known as “Lil Xan” for his affiliation with the drug Xanax.

“I love my fans to death but I can’t let these companies keep taking advantage of me and using me to further there shit. It’s fucked,” he tweeted on Monday.

Waka Flocka is relatively well known for his beef with rapper Gucci Mane, it is uncertain how serious “Flockaveli” is about his beef with Xan and if he plans on changing his mind.

UPDATE: Lil Xan fires back taking to his Instagram account to send out a PSA that “Lil Xan’s not going anywhere. Sorry. You gotta look at this ugly face for a lot longer, guys.”
