WATCH: Bono Channels Dr. Strangelove With “The Blackout”

U2 Turns Out The Lights

No. That’s not the Academy Award-nominated actor Peter Sellers… it’s Bono, frontman of the Irish rock group U2, who put on the tinted glasses for the band’s latest music video, “The Blackout” from their forthcoming album, Songs of Experience.

The group first announced plans for the new album in Facebook video, posted last Christmas, which detailed plans for the follow-up to their 2014 album, Songs of Innocence, which was released for free via Apple iTunes.

In September, they released “You’re The Best Thing About Me,” the band’s first new single in three years. With less than a week before the album is released, on Dec. 1, 2017, the band returns with their dimly lit new music video.
